Emergency Communications
Ensuring consistent and unwavering communication, especially during emergencies, is vital. The Emergency Communications Division operates tirelessly around the clock, 24 hours a day and seven days a week, to maintain this crucial lifeline.
Our responsibilities include:
- Call Processing: Efficiently handling both emergency and non-emergency calls for service (CFS).
- Prioritization & Dispatch: Prioritizing incoming calls and promptly dispatching relevant services to address them.
- Coordination with Local Services: We serve as the central hub for dispatching calls to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Warren County Fire & Rescue.
- 911 Call Handling: We are the primary point of contact for all 911 emergencies within both the County of Warren and the Town of Front Royal.
The division’s exemplary performance is steered under the guidance of a lieutenant and a dedicated dispatch director.
