War­ren Coun­ty is approx­i­mate­ly 216 square miles and has a pop­u­la­tion of around 37,575.

Our deputies are respon­si­ble for pub­lic safe­ty ser­vices and patrol of over 284 sub­di­vi­sions and about 200 miles of state main­tained road­ways. The War­ren Coun­ty Sher­if­f’s Office is tasked with the pro­tec­tion of thou­sands of tourists and res­i­dents alike. We cur­rent­ly have a staff of 92 employ­ees, with 71 sworn deputies. We are a full ser­vice office pro­vid­ing Law Enforce­ment, Inves­ti­ga­tions, Court Secu­ri­ty, Civ­il Process, School Resource, and Ani­mal Control.

We also pro­vide edu­ca­tion­al pro­grams such as our DARE and Class Action pre­sen­ta­tions to our schools. We have high­ly trained and ded­i­cat­ed E911/Communications per­son­nel answer­ing both emer­gency and non-emer­gency calls.
